Visa informations
Due to recent negative experiences and problems with the application process, some updates have been made to ensure that visa applications can be processed more regularly and smoothly.
In this regard, applications will not be accepted if any documents are missing, or if any forms are incorrectly or incompletely completed for C or D type visa applications. Applicants are kindly requested to prepare all documents completely and accurately in order to avoid any delays and additional loss of time.
It is the applicant's responsibility to check that their application meets the requirements (details of the visa application process are available on the website). Applications with missing or incorrect documents will not be accepted and the applicant will have to reschedule the appointment. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully review the validity and accuracy of the documents before applying.

Information about the visa application appointments
It has recently come to our attention that there are claims regarding visa appointment slots being obtained in exchange for money, either individually or through agencies. Visa application appointments are entirely free of charge. The Consulate General has no involvement, authorization of affiliation with such practices.
Official information on how visa appointments are scheduled is clearly and transparently available on the websites of both the Consulate General and authorized visa application centre. Applicants strongly advised to rely solely on information published through these official channels.
· Appointments for C type visa applications are booked through AS Visa Centre’s online appointment system: https://www.as-visa.com/DynamicPage.aspx?ID=51
· In case of emergencies, or business/educational travel, and if an appointment cannot be found, appointment requests can be sent to randevu.ist@mfa.gov.hu along with an invitation letter or relevant supporting documents. Requests are responded to as soon as possible.
· AS Visa Centre’s ESB (early morning appointment) service is a special service provided for special circumstances, such as; high workload or inability to take time off from work. Requests for these appointments are sent to info@as-visa.com. It should be noted that the service fee for this service is different (visa application fee: 90 EUR + AS Visa Service Fee: 25 EUR + extra service fee: 75 EUR = total: 190 EUR).

Please do not rely on agencies, third parties or fraudulent individuals. Visa application appointments are obtained exclusively through official authorities and authorized visa application centre channels.
